Homeopathy for animals

Homeopathy is not just for people! Animals also greatly benefit from a properly chosen remedy.
It can be difficult to find the correct remedy for an animal, as the only symptoms which can be used must be evident to an observer. Your client will not be able to describe pain or emotions to you. This is much the same as finding a remedy for a very young child, excepting the strong bond between child and caregiver, which makes gathering symptoms easier, in my opinion. I am the first to say I am a homeopath for people rather than animals, but I do enjoy seeing homeopathy work for animals.
I have had success with my dog, who had a large fluid-filled swelling on her leg three years ago. The vet aspirated it (which made it immediately worse) and was not sure what to recommend aside from medication which we chose not to give. I matched the symptoms to Phosphorus after the swelling increased even more, and it resolved within three days. Phosphorus has continued to be helpful for the goopy eyes and ears she gets on occasion.
My daughter's hamster came to us with so much energy it was scary. He literally chewed through the box he was in and escaped into the car on the trip home. His energy was frenetic and he was unable to rest at all the entire first week he was home. One dose of Arsenicum settled him right down. Now he has normal hamster energy.
I had a case of a dog who had been hit hard with a plate someone threw at her in a fit of anger. She then became very afraid of everyone and would only hide in the corner. Staphysagria was given and she recovered back to her normal self (the offending person was avoided from that point on).
There are even farmers who treat their livestock homeopathically with great success. Read more about that here: https://www.britishhomeopathic.org/charity/how-we-can-help/articles/animals/grass-roots-homeopathy/
Homeopathy benefits all of us, our animal friends included!
